Present Simple and Continuous - the main differences.
Teacher makes a short warm - up by asking some students the following questions:
1. How often do you go to the library?
2. What are you doing now?
3. What types of books do you like reading?
4. Are you reading a good book at the moment?
5. Do you get good grades at school?
Teacher writes on the blackboard the main differences between both tences:
(usage, adverbs of frequency, etc.)
Then teacher asks students to do together next exercise.
Find and correct one mistake in each text:
1. I'm prepare dinner for my family. I've got a big family so I should make a lot of food.
2. My friend Tim get up early every day to walk to school.
3. I'm have breakfast with my sister at the moment.
4. Jo: What you do after school?
Mark: From time to time I see my friends but usually I do my homework.
5. We don't wearing school uniform at our school and I ihink it is a good idea.
6. Dance Club: We're meet every Friday at 5.30 p.m.
In order to practise students do another exercise.
Complete the sentence to make them true for you:
