CATEGORISING AND MIMING FOOD ITEMS
3. When all the students have their slips of paper with the food items on them they divide the words into four groups according to the food category.
In each corner of the classroom there are notes saying what category this corner is for.( categories: fruit, vegetables, meat, drinks)
4. The students mime their item, the rest of the class have to guess what food item is presented. They have to ask questions ( according to the category ) in order to guess it.( e,.g. Are you an orange?, Are you butter?, etc.)
5. The students come back to their seats in the circle. The teacher asks questions: Have you ever been to a restaurant?, What did you eat?, Was the waiter nice or rude?, etc,
PREPARING AND ACTING OUT THE SKETCHES.
